Learn how to implement and apply COBIT 5 into your enterprise and how to effectively use it for client initiatives. Attendees will walk away with an appreciation of how to effectively use COBIT 5 for different organisational scenarios. The course material is supported by practical exercises and case-based scenarios. Candidates learn how to apply the COBIT5 continual improvement lifecycle approach to address requirements and establish and maintain a sustainable approach to governing and managing enterprise IT as “normal business practice”.

Pre-Requisites


Participants should have experience in the IT governance domain and have attained the COBIT 5 Foundation Certificate.

Certificate Exam

The official ISACA/APMG COBIT® 5 Implementation exam is included as part of the course. The exam consists of 80 multiple-choice questions covering all areas of the COBIT 5 Implementation syllabus, to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes (or 3 hours 10 minutes for non-native English speakers). This is an open book exam. The required pass mark is 50% or 40 correct answers. The exam takes place immediately at the end of the course.

The COBIT® 5 Implementation Exam:

  • 2.5 hours duration
  • 4 questions, each of 20 items, each worth 1 mark. Total of 80 marks available.
  • 40 marks or more required to pass (50%)
  • No reference material other than the COBIT 5 Implementation guide is permitted in the exam
  • A sample paper is provided during the course to help students prepare for the exam
  • Some reviews will be required, to prepare for the exam on day 2/3.
