Pratap has a decade of IT industry experience starting from Technology to Process Governance and management in IT service delivery. He has immense knowledge on ITIL framework and ISO/IEC Standard, and how best to align ITIL best practices, to the business goals & needs. Inspired by fellow trainers and the training sessions he attended on ITIL and related subject areas, he pursued his dream of becoming an independent Trainer and consultant. Joseph’s career passion is to partner with ICT organizations and departments in Africa and beyond in training,development, adaptation, streamlining and benchmarking their processes under best practice frameworks and standards. He brings to the table 10 years’ experience in the mobile phone industry, working in the technology department first as a performance quality engineer before progressing to senior management dealing with change and process governance. Joseph brings to the table a realistic look at implementation of frameworks and standards, plus a commitment to make it work, as well as adopt and adapt in line with organizational culture. His experience in bringing service management best practices at East Africa’s leading telco saw a huge decline in service outages from system changes and recurrent incidents as well as and a division wide adoption of ITIL with more than 90% of technology staff getting ITIL foundation certified. By leading a group of champions, Joseph drafted and led the implementation of a 3 year strategy plan for service management adoption and prepare the organization for ISO 20000 certification.
